A semi-fluid wire rope grease compound for extreme lubrication and corrosion prevention requirements of wire ropes working on dock cranes and draglines near fresh or salt water. Packed in 12.5kg pails – an ideal and great value ship crane rope lubricant for hoists, plant, or mobile cranes.
Penetrates between steel rope strands for durable internal and external protection and lubrication against corrosion caused by moisture, adverse weather conditions and sea water.
This wire rope grease extends service life, reduces wear between strands with a water-resistant film, and ensures long film life with low product accumulation to avoid abrasive particles and muck.
Can be applied on top of old lubricants – please ‘work-in’ for one week and then apply a further quantity. Dispose of waste in line with local and national regulations. Wire ropes are kept clean to handle and inspect.
