HVO Fuel For Trucks
Concern exists in government circles about haulage emissions and HVO fuel for trucks is a sustainable way to fuel existing diesel trucks to cut emissions.
Known also as renewable diesel, hydrotreated vegetable oil (HVO) is a high purity synthetic alternative diesel fuel that both cuts net greenhouse gas emissions and particulate matter by burning much cleaner in the Scania, DAF, Volvo, MAN, or Mercedes engine. This produces cleaner exhaust plume, even in Euro 6 engines, and cuts AdBlue use and blocked DPFs.
As a smaller family run business, we specialise in supplying HVO fuel all over the UK in quantities from a 10 litre jerrycan to a 30,000 litre tanker load if you have suitable bunded diesel tanks at your site.
Offering a cleaner burn than normal fossil diesel and a net carbon emissions cut of more than 80%, using HVO fuel for trucks is quick and easy and you are saving around 2kg of carbon per litre burnt – thus quickly adding up to many tonnes of GHG saving.
There are some motorway services and truck stops in the UK that offer HVO at the pump now although it is currently quite expensive.
Why not ask us for a quote to have HVO delivered to your own yard or let us quote you for a 5000 litre bunded tank complete with remote monitoring and fuel management software?
